Many of us have committed a “random act of kindness”, and some of us have even been the recipient of this wonderful gift. In either instance, you often remember it! A truly selfless act of love blesses both the giver and the recipient.
Our society is so focused on how to get ahead in life and be successful that we sometimes forget it’s not just about us. One random act of kindness can trickle into streams of positivity that can energize thousands….and it doesn’t cost a million dollars.
Many of us don’t know that there is actually a Random Acts of Kindness Foundation! They help to inspire the world, and even invite folks to become – wait for it – “RAKtivists”! Currently they have nearly 25,000 members from 87 different countries. All with the same mission.
What is the Goal?
In essence, to make Earth a much kinder planet (the kindest in the universe?). “Ultimately, we’re striving to make kindness the standard in every aspect of life. Whether it’s helping a stranger in need on your way to work, instilling the importance of kindness in students in a classroom, or a mutual demonstration of appreciation of those closest to us, our end-goal is to make kindness not an act at all, but a reflex.” 1https://www.randomactsofkindness.org/faq
DrTung’s Believes in Random Acts of Kindness
Like many of you, we are a fan of kindness, so why don’t we all think ahead about a special kind act we can do during Random Acts of Kindness Week. Just visit our FB page and tell us about your plans OR, even a RAOK that you may have experienced and left an impression on you. Sometimes, sharing these actions make people aware that there are more unselfish people out there than you think!
Join us in the revolution to create a world where people are kinder … and can smile more! Liberate your smile!
