February is National Children’s Dental Health Month

This month-long national health observance brings together thousands of dedicated professionals, healthcare providers, and educators to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers and many others.1

We at DrTung’s really like this year’s slogan:

Brush and clean in between to build a healthy smile.

It really is the fundamental building block for kids of all ages to begin their dental health journey.  The key is to start them out young, encouraging this excellent habit twice a day.   Over time, it will become as normal as washing their hands after going to the bathroom and snapping in their seatbelt when they ride in a car. And one day, these healthy routines become almost like a parasympathetic system…as vital to them as breathing and digesting. (Ok…that’s a little over the top, but you get where we’re going with this.)

So let’s celebrate National Children’s Dental Health Month by being great role models to our little ones by practicing excellent oral health care habits ourselves! The benefits are twofold—we teach our kids good habits, PLUS we reap the rewards of a healthy smile.

Equip Your Kids With The Right Tools

DrTung’s has everything you and your children need to practice daily oral health hygiene. From our Ionic toothbrush to our Stainless Tongue Cleaner to our  Smart Floss  we’ve got you covered.  (And by  the way, ALL DrTung’s floss is safe and PTFE-Free….read more here.)

And special for the kiddos are our Kids Snap on Toothbrush Protectors. These adorable and functional cases keep your kids’ toothbrush hygienic and fresh for up to 2 months!  Plus, they’re recyclable and earth-friendly! Made with EcoPure®, they turn into biomass in a landfill faster than regular plastics! if they don’t get recycled.

Did I also mention they’re adorable?  Kids will love to protect their toothbrush with these colorful little animals.

DISCLAIMER: While we applaud the ADA for sponsoring National Children’s Dental Health Month, we disagree with ADA on some fundamental issues such as their support for mercury (amalgam) fillings on adults AND children, use of ingested fluoride, and other topics.
