No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
This Nov. 13 is World Kindness Day, and DrTung’s is a huge fan! Our only regret is that it is only celebrated one day a year. However, if there was ever a time the world needed more kindness, it certainly is now!
About World Kindness Day
World Kindness Day is an international observance on 13 November. It was introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement, a coalition of international kindness NGOs (non-governmental organizations). It is observed in many countries, including Canada, Japan, Australia, Nigeria and United Arab Emirates1 . Read more here
What Kind of Kindness?
To help offset the current national and international volatility, especially as we approach the holidays, DrTung’s requests all of our readers to plan at least one random act of kindness next week. It doesn’t matter upon whom who you bestow your kindness….we all can use some! Whether it’s your best friend, “man’s best friend,” a grumpy neighbor, your arch-rival or the planet, just make it a point to show some kindness. Natural laws will help direct it back to you in a positive form! But then again, kindness requires no reward.
Since DrTung’s is such a huge fan of sharing kindness, we wanted to let you know some of some of the ways DrTung’s celebrates every day
- Our core values are founded in love and care. We embrace diversity and adhere to ethical business practices. As DrTung’s grows, our responsibility for – and awareness of – the global environment expands.
- We contribute at least 2% of our profits to non-profit organizations closely aligned with ocean, land and wildlife conservation, sustainability, reforestation and development of consciousness.
- We strive to deliver high-quality benefits with the smallest possible environmental footprint. Ingredients are chosen thoughtfully and consciously, to enhance the oral wellness experience and empower the body.
- We never use use child labor, never test on animals and are committed to recyclable, reusable and biodegradable materials.
It Takes All Kinds
So how are you going to celebrate World Kindness Day this year? We’d love to hear about it, and we invite you to share it on our Facebook page. Let’s all commit to just a little more kindness and liberate our smiles. It’s the ONE type of contagiousness we need to spread across the planet!
